The La Spaziale S40 Suprema 4 group is a highly reliable premium espresso coffee machine that combines top-of-the-range design with the practicality required by baristas and coffee lovers.
The La Spaziale S40 Suprema also comes as a takeaway version, which means the distance between the grid and the coffee spouts is higher for taller cups such as takeaway cups (simply select the takeaway package in the drop-down).
The La Spaziale 40 Suprema features the attractive design of the S40 Seletron but is aimed at a wider range of coffee professionals. The S40 has the reliability of the S8 - S9 but with higher features and outfits, plus it combines technical excellence with simple programming.

An espresso machine is a specialist piece of equipment and getting it set up and working to the best of its abilities is something that doesn't come naturally to most people.
When we quote you for a bespoke espresso machine package, we will always include the installation of the machine as standard unless you tell us differently.
A La Spazialle installation is more than just unpacking the box, connecting up the services, and showing you the on/off switch. Of course, all that is included, but the engineer will also review your espresso beans set your grinder accordingly, and explain to you the grinding and coarseness differences.
After that, the engineer will help you taste your way to the best extraction temperature for your espresso bean and show you how you can alter this yourself should you ever change your espresso beans or decide you want to change the taste profile of your coffee. The cost of the installation is a fixed price, designed to cover the expense of a qualified and trained engineer sharing her or his knowledge to help you get the best out of a fantastic piece of equipment.
The La Spaziale S40 Suprema Takeaway has a built-in volumetric pump and a pressure gauge for boiler pressure control. Not only this but a pressure gauge for the pump pressure control of the espresso machine, making it perform brilliantly in professional settings.
The Suprema S40 has an attractive LED display to show the extraction time for each delivery group as well as an individual temperature control (ITC) for each delivery group. These technical attributes, along with the electronic coffee grounds system of the S40 mean you have everything you need in a professional espresso coffee machine.
The S40 is a superb-looking unit too, with LED lights for the drip tray grid, and helpful line grips to take your coffee and espresso cups, you really can’t go wrong.
The distance between the delivery spouts and the drip tray is a perfect 16 centimetres, to enable takeaway cups to be used with the machine (hence the S40 Take Away version name).
The La Spaziale S40 Suprema 4 Group Takeaway espresso machine has a great electric cup warmer that delivers a consistent temperature, plus a total coffee counter function.
Please note the S40 can also deliver hot water for tea infusions or related drinks if required (plus adjustable temperature on this too). This along with other functions such as its UP function (operating temperature boost) and control of malfunction alarms etc, means you have everything you need in an espresso machine if, for example, you are looking to start a café business or just want to take advantage of the premium coffee a high-end La Spaziale espresso machine can produce.
With La Spaziale machines you can easily change the extraction temperature yourself, allowing you to be in control.
Every bean has its own temperature sweet spot; most espresso machines are set at a standard extraction temperature prior to despatch from the factory and to change it at a later date you will likely have to pay an engineer to come out and change it for you.
