The Smart Grinder Pro by SAGE holds 450g of coffee beans, which is more than enough to enjoy a few rounds of espresso's. With 165W of power, the Smart Grinder Pro meticulously and efficiently grinds any bean you throw at it.
The top of the range technology that goes into this Sage grinder offers 60 variants of coarseness, enabling you to achieve not only the grind but ultimately the coffee speciality to suit your preference.
This fully programmable conical burr grinder means you can find the right coffee grind consistency whether you want to use a cafetierre for a party, a filter machine for ease of use, a V60 for personal delight, or reach an espresso fine grind for use in a traditional espresso machine - the Sage Smart Grinder Pro offers you the very best at every level.

The Sage Smart Grinder Pro Black Truffle has a beautifully clear high quality LCD screen to cycle through various grind settings, times and quantity of espresso shots and cups. Such settings offer the ability to acheive the perfect grind consistency regardless of how coarse you need your coffee, or which beans you are using (decaf included).
No expense has been spared when SAGE put together the top quality stainless steel conical burrs for this grinder, as the Smart Grinder Pro is designed to minimise heat expulsion, an aspect of a grinder that is very important to ensure the oils of the coffee bean are not spoilt.
You can dispense the coffee from this grinder into whatever you want, be it a portafilter, coffee container, filter or V60 paper filter.
Choosing the right coffee can seem daunting, but actually its pretty simple.
If you are wanting to make espresso's, then you need a strong bean (i.e. strength 5), here we recommend our own Jurang Fairtrade Beans. If you are looking for a coarser grind for use in a V60 or French Press for example, then a weaker coffee may more preferable (i.e. strengh 3 or 4), here Jurang recommends the London Fields range which is top quality QR grade coffee from CafeDirect.
